Pfizer Australia is looking into launching its own version of Viagra in Australia, claiming the drug could be bought over the counter at pharmacies.
Pfizer Australia is looking into selling Viagra at its private online pharmacy in Australia, and the erectile dysfunction drug, which has been sold under the brand name "Sildenafil" for decades, is now available over the counter in the country's most popular online store.
Pfizer Australia is not the first online store to sell Viagra in Australia. It's been selling the drug in the country since the 1980s, when Pfizer launched the drug in Australia as well as the United States.
The site is run by a man from Victoria, who claims he has bought the drug over the counter and has no prescription in the country.
The man said he has bought it online in the past, and the drug has been available in his pharmacy since the last two years.
The drug is also sold over the counter at pharmacies in the city of Melbourne, with a price of just under $100 per tablet.
Pfizer Australia is seeking to make Viagra available over the counter in Australia under the name "Sildenafil".
Pfizer Australia says it is not aware of any other medications it has sold in Australia that are not approved by the Australian Drug and Cosmetics Agency.
The website says its customers are not advised to buy Viagra on the internet or in person without a prescription from a doctor.
Pfizer Australia said that it does not believe the drug is a substitute for a doctor's prescription and does not recommend it for patients with pre-existing conditions.
Pfizer Australia's online pharmacy will sell Viagra without a prescription, the site said.
It added that the store would be run by a male, but not a woman and the woman would not be able to buy the drug over the counter.
In an interview withThe Sun, the man said: "It's an interesting story and I have a very good reason to be here, but it is not my intention to sell it over the counter."
The erectile dysfunction drug has been on the Australian market since 1997, when it was introduced in the United States.
Pfizer said it was not aware of any other countries or online pharmacies that sell it.
The site's website said it has received complaints from users who have purchased Viagra over the counter. They have been told to check the product label or contact their doctor.
Pfizer said it is not aware of any other online pharmacies that sell Viagra without a prescription.
The erectile dysfunction drug is sold over the counter in the United States, but not in the country of Australia, a spokesman for Pfizer said.
The spokesman, from Belgium, said: "We do not sell Viagra for erectile dysfunction. Viagra has no active ingredient.
"We do not use Viagra for erectile dysfunction.
"We are committed to providing customers with genuine and safe medicines, and the safety of which our customers have been trusted for years. We take every precaution to ensure our customers receive the safest and most effective treatment available on the Internet.
The gel is for people with mild to severe erectile dysfunction and is available over the counter
A new treatment for that can work within 10 minutes has launched in the UK.
It is a gel called Eroxon, and has been clinically proven to work for people with mild to severe erectile dysfunction.
Eroxon is made by Futura Medical, a pharmaceutical company based in the UK.
Eroxon is applied to the head of the penis, where the gel evaporates, with this evaporation stimulates vascular and neural nerve endings by rapidly cooling and warming the area. This triggers the release of nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels, therefore increasing blood flow to the penis and causing an erection.
The release of nitric oxide is also how other erectile dysfunction (ED) treatments such as Viagra work, but they have the disadvantage of relaxing blood vessels in the entire body, since they are taken orally and not applied directly. This can lead to side effects such as nausea, dizziness and headaches.
These side effects mean people with pre-existing health conditions, such as heart and liver disease, cannot take oral ED pills. They are also not safe for people who have recently had a stroke, and cannot be taken with some prescription medicines.
Dr Hilary Jones, who regularly appears as a health expert on ITV, told: “The word ‘breakthrough’ is often used in health headlines, but new treatments which are truly groundbreaking come along far less frequently. Eroxon is an innovative therapy which has the potential to change the lives of millions of men with erectile dysfunction.”
Dr Catherine Hood, a sexual health specialist, added: “When they were launched back in the 90s, PDE5i medicines were a game-changer, but they are not an option for many men due to pre-existing health conditions, interactions with their prescription medicines or simply because of the time they take to work.”
In a 12-week clinical trial of 250 people, two out of three reported a significant improvement in their ability to achieve and maintain an erection. The figure rose to 80 per cent for those with severe erectile dysfuncion.
The gel is available over the counter, without a prescription. Eroxon costs £24.99 for a pack of four single-use tubes, and is available from Boots stores and online.
How it is availableEroxon is taken by mouth in 10 – 20mg doses for a length of time as directed. The efficacy of the drug in inducing erections is supported by lack of side effects in low doses, such as nausea, drowsiness and increased bleeding.
How Dr Catherine Hood and her team of experts were able to treat people with mild to severe erectile dysfunctionThey were able to take the oral medication for up to as many as 10 minutes, with some people achieving an erection as quickly as 10 minutes after the start of the treatment.
Dr Hood, a liver and kidney patients, said: “Before a treatment is started, people are first to take the gel. The medication is applied to the skin, and is done by slow diffusion, 10 – 20mg beantails are used, after the medication is applied, the gel is dry and the product is dry so that before the product is used, the gel dry before application and that is how the treatment is started.”
Dr Hood added: “The main side effects are some of thepoorly absorbed treatments do cause side effects and are not entirely drug-free. You must have a medical condition such as heart failure, kidney disease or liver cirrhosisat least 1 week before any treatment.”
Dr Hood’s team of experts were able to achieve an impressive rate of 66 per patient, with more than 80 per cent of those who took the treatment with other ED medications, such as medicines for pain and inflammation, also having mild side effects.
In a 12-week clinical trial of 250 people, two out of three people reported a significant improvement in ability to achieve and maintain an erection for more than 2 hours after the treatment was started.

The study was published in theJournal of Sexual Medicine(JSTM), published on Monday in the journalMen's Health. A study of 4,000 male patients who were not prescribed a sexual medication for ED found the risk was increased by 4.6 times.
The researchers found that a treatment for ED increased the risk of heart attack and stroke by an additional 1.3- and 1.5-fold, respectively.
According to the study, "Viagra was the first approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and is currently being evaluated as a treatment for the condition."
Sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension. It belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. "The safety and efficacy of sildenafil in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension are well established, and the clinical data clearly demonstrate that the use of sildenafil is safe and well-tolerated," said, the senior author.

By the end of the second quarter of this year, Viagra sales accounted for $5.2 billion in the U. S., according to IMS Health.
Sales of the blockbuster pill in the U. S. reached $1.8 billion, up from $1.3 billion, and Viagra accounted for $2.1 billion in the same period last year.
That's a big improvement on the previous year's $4.3 billion total in sales, according to IMS Health. But it also has a downside: Pfizer said it had cut its U. sales force to prevent it from losing market exclusivity.
Pfizer said it had removed certain Pfizer products from its U. pharmacy business, and the company said it would begin to review the company's products.
The company said it was "reviewing and evaluating" Pfizer products, including a new drug called Revatio, and will begin to review its products.
"We are committed to ensuring that Viagra remains available and affordable to American consumers," said Steve Lamm, Pfizer's president and CEO.
Viagra is Pfizer's main competitor to Cialis and Levitra, the two medications that treat erectile dysfunction.
Pfizer said it would begin to review its Viagra products at a later date. Sales of the other new drugs had been limited in the U. and worldwide.
While the company is not yet looking for a new competitor, the drugmakers are looking for a more affordable and effective alternative.
The companies said Viagra is a new and new market that they hope will allow customers to take advantage of generic alternatives.
